Day 01 : Bangalore
After arrival in Banglore at the airport, Travel Horizon Representatives will greet and assist you to transfer to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02 : Bangalore
After hearty breakfast in the morning, enjoy the full day sightseeing city tour of Bangalore ( city of gardens ), the capital of Karnataka, situated at the altitude of 914 MSL. In the afternoon visit most modern markets in India at M.G. Road, Brigade Road, and Legislative Assembly. Later visit Lal Bagh Botanical garden laid out during the 18th century by Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan and cover an area of 240 acres. They contain one of the largest collections of rare tropical and sub-tropical plants in India besides having century-old trees, fountains, terraces, lotus pools, a rose garden and a deer park. Come back to the Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03 : Bangalore - Mysore ( 145 Km, 03 hours )
After hearty breakfast in the morning, leave for Mysore en route visit at summer palace of Tipu Sultan (tiger of Mysore). Continue your drive to Mysore, once the capital and today the second most important city of Karnataka. Upon arrival in Mysore, Travel Horizon India Representatives will assist you to transfer to the Hotel. In the afternoon visit the most impressive of Mysore's numerous monuments, though, is the Maharaja's Palace built in 1911 at the cost of 4.2 million Indian Rupees. One of the biggest in India, it is a harmonious synthesis of the Hindu and Saracenic styles of architecture. Later visit Chamunda Devi temple on the hilltop, local elegant & exciting markets, on Sunday. The whole Maharaja Palace is lightened in the evening and it gives a great impression of the palace. Come back to the Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04 : Mysore - Somnathpur - Mysore
After hearty breakfast, drive to Somnathpur to visit 13th century Shiva Temple built by Hoyasala Kings. After that, drive to Srirangapatnam to visit summer palace and tomb of Tipu Sultan. Come back to Mysore for overnight stay.
Day 05 : Mysore - Sravanabelgola - Hassan
After hearty breakfast in the morning, leave for Hassan, en route visit at Sravanabelgola Jain temple atop of the hill with five hundred steps cut out of rock lead to the summit and the colossal statue of Lord Gomateswara, which is 1705 meters high. It is nearly eighteen hundred years old. Continue your drive to Hassan. Upon arrival, Travel Horizon India Representatives will assist you to transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, drive and visit Belur temple of Vishnu built in 1117A.D. by the Hoyasala king Vishnuvardhan. After that visit Helebid Shiva temple built in 13th century. Both these temples are worth to see the stone art. Come back to Hassan for overnight stay.
Day 06 : Hassan - Hospet ( 350 Km, 07 hours )
After a relaxed breakfast in the morning, leave for Hospet. Upon arrival, Travel Horizon India Representatives will assist you to transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 07 : Hospet - Hampi - Hospet ( day trip )
After hearty breakfast, leave for Hampi, where in lie the ruins of the famous capital of the Vijayanager empire, once abundant in wealth, military prowess, aesthetics and culture. The ruins , spread over an area of nearly 26 sq km, include temples, pavilions, baths and places. Many of them are still in good condition. The Pampapati Swami temple with its many tiered phramidal tower crests above the others. The Vittala Temple has 56 pillars, each of which produces a different musical note when tapped. Come back to Hotel at Hospet for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 08 : Hospet - Pattadakal - Aihole - Badami
After hearty breakfast, this morning proceed to leave for Badami. Visit ancient temples of Aihole. Badami and Pattadakal, situated within a few kilometers of one another. At Aihole, the cradle of Hindu temple architecture, there are as many as 70 temples of which 30 lie in a single enclosure. The Durga temple with its pyramidal roof has some remarkable sculpture and the Jain Meguli temple is constructed at 630 small stone blocks. The Jain cave temple hewn out of solid rock of Badami, once a flourishing capital of the Chalukyas belongs to 550 A.D. The columns and ceiling are so finely executed that it is difficult to believe that these caves were once dug out. Upon arrival Travel Horizon India representatives will assist you to transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 09 -14 : Badami - Goa ( 190 Km, 05 hours )
After hearty breakfast in the morning, leave for Goa. Upon arrival in Goa, Travel Horizon India Representatives will assist you to transfer to the hotel. Enjoy Goa sea beaches till day 15.
Day 15 : Goa - Mumbai ( By Flight )
After hearty morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Goa airport to board flight for Mumbai.Upon arrival in Mumbai, Travel Horizon India Representatives will assist you to transfer to the hotel. This day is free for your personal activities. Late evening, after farewell dinner, Travel Horizon India Representatives will assist you to transfer to Mumbai International airport to board flight back to your home destnation.
